The Alumni Glee Club has been invited to participate in the annual Evening of Men's Fellowship with the Men's Chorus of Alfred Street Baptist Church in Old Town Alexandria, an event that invites two other local ensembles to join them and perform for each other. It's an ultra-casual evening of singing and fellowship.

This year, the event will take place on Wednesday evening, October 8 at Alfred Street Baptist Church from about 7-9pm. The eveniing will consist of each ensemble performing 2-3 songs and then teaching//learning 2-4 songs together (very informal and casual - sitting in the audience and reading off of sheet music or lyric sheets). 

The church usually provides heavy hors d'oeuvres in their fellowship hall after the event for some social time before everyone heads home.

Before we commit the club to this event, we want to discern whether we can gather sufficient singers to represent the club properly--there are limited invitations to particiapte so we need to make sure we can fulfill the expectations or we will pass.
